I was searching for a way to put my hair in afro puffs and gurl you got your hair exactly how I want but except I wanted the zig-zag part in the middle. Peace out
Hi ...I like the pic's....How do you keep it wet and wavy loking in the puff pic's. I like to were my natrual like that, but it dries out and looks a mess. I tried logging on to that products web page , but it it under construction.
u look good girl. i love the texture of your hair. i am transitioning right now cause i'm tired of being like everyone else with the straight hair! thanks for the ideas!
I love your two strand twist. I do my on twist but smaller wet. I keep trying to figure out how to get it done quicker without parting almost straight all over. I did for the first time twist the hair dry. Twist were puffy and not as tight. I need some tips what am I doing wrong?
Thanks! You may need to use a product to "set" your dry twists. I used to use control'd substance by salon selectives sometimes.
Thanks for the compliment and for checking me out. I have been locked for nearly 1 year now, so I am going to give you what I remember about my old routine...Mix a little gel (IC frizz buster or Salon Selectives Control'd substance) with a little natural pomade (grease without mineral oil) and apply to part that is smoothed back. Brush with a wet BBB and apply a silk scarf. Fluff puff with damp fingers.
HTH! Email me if you have any other questions --NN
i am loving this. seeing this means so much to me. i now know what i can do to my hair. i have to look at all your pic. all these styles are so amazing. i am going to do that to my hair right now.
i also found your page by accident. I love all the ways you do your hair. you are what i have been looling for. i have been natural for almost three years. my hair is kind or long and i did't know what to do with it. but your page help me out a lot.
Thank you
how long did you keep the twist in befor you took them out?
Hey Paulette! I am glad that you found our page!!! It has been a while since I did this style, so I don't remember exactly how long I kept it twisted before unravelling. In my humble opinion, if you wet or damp twist your hair and unravel once COMPLETELY dry, it is likely that your twist set will last. Good luck!! -NN
MAN! I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT! I don't know why this is the first time I've stumbled upon your site! Your hair is the BOMB Toya! I am hoping to see it in person @ the next DC/MD/VA get togethers...your styles are amazing! I can't wait until I can do twists this large. Right now, I only wear the really small ones (like the ones you have in the pic where they are all pulled into a ponytail). They take FOREVER to do, but they look much nicer on my length of hair than the larger twists. These, however look BEAUTIFUL on you! Well done!

Thanks Nic for the compliments and thanks for checking me out! Good luck on your natural journey, keep me updated!

Toya your hair looks beautiful. I love your twist out. How long will last in this way before you have to retwist. To answer your question I am natural but found your page by accident while looking in Fotiki a long time ago.
Thanks Linda! This twist out lasted me about 1 week with a 10 twist reset in the middle of the week. HTH! -NN
Wow!! I love this style, you look so cute! :-) I can't wait until my hair is as long as yours, if I try to wear two afropuffs, they are really little, not full like yours!
Rock on girl!
Natti, thank you so much! I couldn't believe the size of the puffs myself. Thanks for stopping by! -NN
